I am the father of two wonderful children (Charlie 8 & Ethan 5) and partner to my wife Nicola. In 2012 when Ethan was born he was diagnosed with a Down Syndrome.
He was also diagnosed, with two Holes in his Heart and only one Heart Valve This completely changed our lives overnight. Despite of these conditions Ethan is an absolute ray of sunshine and Happiness who copes extremely well since having open heart surgery. He is the strongest person I know and smiles every day. I am passionate about trying to help other parents and carers who cannot or don’t know how to access the services they need. I want to try and make the changes through my work with the Parent Carer Forum. I am also Currently Chairman of Down Syndrome Jersey.
