The Government is preparing to launch DigiSafe Jersey, a new website designed to provide practical guidance on keeping children safe online.
They want to hear from SEND parents before it launches, to make sure the guidance is useful, easy to understand and nothing is missing.

We’re exploring what housing options and support young people with additional needs may need in the future. We know this can be a sensitive topic, so please share only what feels comfortable.
💬 What are your hopes for your young person’s future housing — whether they continue to live at home or may one day live elsewhere? (We'd love to hear your vision for the needs, adaptations, support, and type of living environment that would help them thrive).
💬 Do you feel aware of the housing options currently available?
Your views will help us understand what families need and shape a clearer pathway.

Parent Carer Forum Jersey | For Parents of Children with Special Needs
Working cooperatively with parents and carers to improve the services used by children and young people with special needs in Jersey.Thu November 20th
Parents often tell us how hard it can be to find information about support and services, and how they want to plan much earlier than many services realise.
Last night’s Preparing for Adulthood Information Event organised by Mont à l’Abbé School aimed to change that — bringing guidance, support and information together in one place. Thank you Mont à l’Abbé School
A big thank you to all the families who came to speak with us. Your voices help shape better support for the future. ... See MoreSee Less

Parents of students in Secondary ARPs: You should have received an invitation from your ARP Manager or school SENCO to attend the Post-16 Transition Event. The event is open to all families, not just those based at MAL, and will be a valuable opportunity to support transition planning — especially if your annual review has not yet taken place.

Last week, representatives from the Parent Forum met with the Transformation Director leading improvements to Jersey’s Educational Psychology and Wellbeing Service.
We shared the experiences and expectations that parents have expressed about the service so far, and it was encouraging to hear about the vision for transforming the support available to schools and families.
There’s a clear commitment to listening to parents’ voices throughout this process, and we’ll continue working closely with the team as the service develops.
💡 Parents are warmly invited to continue to share their own experiences or ideas for improvement — please get in touch with us anytime.
